JC Growers is a family operation, run by a father and son.

JC Growers is built on something most operations can't replicate: decades of direct, hands-on experience at every level of the California nursery industry. Our operations are led by Jose Luis Covarrubias, whose career in horticulture and nursery management spans more than 40 years across the state, from Orange County and the Central Valley to Sacramento and the Bay Area. In 2017 he founded his own nursery, today JC Growers.

That depth of regional knowledge shapes every decision we make, from how we grow our stock to how we source for complex commercial orders. We grow what we know will thrive here, and we won't sell what we wouldn't put in our own ground.

Today we grow out of Gilroy, a region with the climate and agricultural infrastructure to support a wide, consistent range of plant material year-round. Every order gets the same standard: healthy, installation-ready plants, proactive communication, and dependable fulfillment that doesn't leave your crew waiting.

Beyond our own inventory, we work with a trusted network of growers throughout California, giving clients access to proven core lines as well as specialized and hard-to-find varieties. Whether you're refreshing a small commercial property or filling a large-scale landscape contract, the goal is the same: make sourcing simple, keep communication clear, and deliver material that performs.

How we handle your information.

What you send us. When you submit the contact form, we receive your name, contact details, message and any files you attach. We use them only to respond to your inquiry and prepare quotes. We don't sell or share them.

Site analytics. We use privacy-friendly analytics (Umami, plus our own simple visit counter) to see which pages are visited, how people find us, and when someone taps our phone number or email. We record the page, the site you came from, an approximate city from your connection, and your device type. We don't use cookies, don't store IP addresses, and don't track you across other websites.

Business visitor insights. We use Apollo.io to identify the companies that visit our site, based on business network information, so we can better serve trade customers. This does not identify you personally.
